Indigo Sodenashi Vest
Late Meiji, from the northern Kanto region. An uncommon dark indigo woven vest constructed from several patches and fabrics featuring intricately pieces of kogin stitched cloth as well as a another pattern of kogin stitched cloth attached at the shoulder area to protect the vest while carrying heavy things. Also of note are the quilted indigo side panels. Pristine condition. (40 cm wide x 70 cm long)
